Applied Physics – Medical Physics Microwave Thermography for Cancer Detection

The paper presents some new methods for early breast cancer detection using microwaves. On describe the following methods and techniques: microwave impedance tomography, termography and microwave radiometry, combined methods microwave and ultra-acustic image and confocal microwave imaging. We make an analysis of advantages and disadvantages of every method and also physical principles of microwave thermography.
